The Saltbox, Kill Devil Hills: Weekend Brunch

Consistently wins Best Restaurant in Outer Banks. Brunch Sundays 9 am to 2 pm. The menu changes weekly (check their website) but usually includes things like stuffed French toast, frittata, crab benedict, pancakes, shrimp and grits, sandwiches. Wine and beer (after 11 am, due to the law).  About 4 miles from the house. Indoor and outdoor seating on a screened-in porch which allows dogs. (They also do an amazing lunch and dinner, menu varies weekly, Mondays, and Wednesdays thru Saturdays 11:30 to 2:30, and 5-9 (closed Tuesdays).
